As an Indigenous Professional Coach with several years of progressive experience in both the private and public sectors, Jessica has been passionately involved in executive coaching, group facilitation and training, conflict resolution and mediation, event management, social media marketing, customer service training, program development and management, professional speaking and community leadership. She is an energetic and motivated professional who quickly gains the trust of clients with her warm and engaging personality and professional style. Jessica was recognized for her professional expertise through nomination as a finalist in the CBC's Top 40 Manitoban's under 40 for 2015 and most recently, a finalist for 2017 Future Leaders of Manitoba. Her volunteer contributions have gained her wide respect within Manitoba. For instance, she served two, one-year terms as Chair of the Aboriginal Chamber of Commerce, she is a member of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the City of Winnipeg Mayor's Indigenous Advisory Circle, the Helen Betty Osborne Memorial Foundation and the Winnipeg Poverty Reduction Council. She is a powerful role model and advocate for social justice, turning a family tragedy, the loss of her brother in 2005, into an opportunity to lead others to overcome challenge and hardship by developing personal strengths, vision and self-confidence and demonstrating her own story of reconciliation. Few know that Jessica is a marriage commissioner, bringing her own personal touch, introducing traditional smudge in the marriage ceremony and writes the wedding vows to the satisfaction of each of her clients. |
