| Exhaust Manifold Enclosures | Years of experience allow us to incorporate cutting edge technology coupled with superior design and choice of materials capable of withstanding the toughest conditions for manifold insulation. An exceptional combination of tested materials provides blankets with the ability to retain energy and provide for higher efficiency of the turbo chargers. In addition to the above, our specialty covers help reduce engine compartment temperatures from 1200 °F, (common operating temperature for most exhaust manifolds), to 350 °F - 400 °F. In some cases, such as in the Gas Fuel engines, the temperature of the engine compartment is a very critical issue, since it can affect the performance of the spark plug coils. Advance Thermal Corp. covers can solve this problem by bringing the temperature down to 200 °F. |
| Steam distribution and district heating MANHOLE steam system covers | The manholes are often exposed to the elements all year long, in some cases they flood with sewer or harbor waters. The flooding creates steam which in combination with road salt, sand and other elements, creates a very harsh environment for any insulation. Years of testing and verification in manholes helped us develop a unique technology, capable of producing a cover that will not “fall apart”. The cover incorporates special threads, non-corrosive fastener systems, specialty fabrics and insulations. Recent introduction of the STEAMGUARD-2™ material provides yet new opportunities. Totally free of sub-strates that are prone to degradation, the covers made with STEAMGUARD-2™ material will provide years of trouble-free service in most corrosive and demanding environments.
