| Hip Hop dance classes | KaliAndrews Dance Company is one of the best Hip Hop dance schools in Ottawa. Our Hip Hop dance classes are offered to both children and adults, and beginners are welcome. We offer classes at a competitive level for Hip Hop dancers who are interested in being a part of different competitions, but we also teach recreational Hip Hop lessons for students who only want to dance and have a good time. Our teachers focus on teaching freestyle Hip Hop, which features movements like popping, locking and breaking, and our great range of music and fresh choreographs will be enjoyed by everyone. When it comes to our dress code for Hip Hop dance classes, loose clothing is acceptable, with indoor shoes and pony tails. | Jazz dance classes | Jazz dance is a fun and energetic dance style that was meant to be a form of rebellion against traditional Ballet. With fancy footwork, exaggerated movements, big leaps and fast turns, it's a dance technique that many students enjoy. KaliAndrews Dance Company offers Jazz dance classes for all ages, and all levels of experience. A background in traditional Ballet is useful to really excel in Jazz dance, and it's recommended that our students also attend either a Ballet or a Lyrical dance class to complement their skills.
