Land SurveyingProfessional Surveyors - who know your territory Accurate and timely surveys are vital to your business. Midwest’s numerous branch and field offices facilitate quick response times and help minimize your transportation charges. Our mission is to provide accurate, professional services and high quality customer service while maintaining strict standards for safety. Midwest Surveys provides professional land surveying services for a wide range of industries. Our particular expertise lies in oil and gas related land surveys and we are a member in good standing of APEGGA (Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta). Midwest’s oil and gas experience not only provides our crews with the understanding of how to work safely and effectively in sensitive regions, it has also allowed Midwest to compile an extensive library of proprietary plans from areas throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Line Location ServicesThe extensive drilling and construction activity throughout western Canada have made accurate line location increasingly vital. With greater drilling density and the reworking of old areas, the risk of an accidental line strike grows. Midwest can provide accurate, timely line marking in order to significantly reduce these risks. Our experience working in sensitive areas enhances our ability to precisely identify and mark buried lines. Midwest personnel also have the safety training, equipment, and expertise to safely work in and around active drilling and construction zones. Midwest’s large number of field crews and office locations facilitate access to target locations across Western Canada. Of course, proper research is a key component to line location and marking. Our extensive proprietary database of survey plans from throughout the region, combined with our access to third-party records, enables Midwest to provide comprehensive searches for existing facilities before our crews enter the area. Once onsite, our highly experienced crews locate existing lines using historical information in conjunction with advanced line detection equipment. While we realize that safety and reducing potential liability from a line strike are your key concerns, however, if Midwest already has crews working in the area of your line locate, you could realize a reduction in transportation expenses.
