| Directory | The INDEX is an 8 ½ x 11 200 plus page book published quarterly. It is the most up-to-date and complete survey of Explorers and Producers and Pipeline and Petrochemical companies and their district and field offices in western Canada . The companies are listed alphabetically with address and postal code, phone and fax numbers, website and email. The entries include public and private companies and show an employee count or affiliation indicating each as an operator or non-operator. There are approximately 2,800 explorers and producers listed along with their 600 district and field offices up to five times the coverage of other directories. In each issue, 90 to 100 new Explorers and Producers are identified. The INDEX has a unique cross reference section of over 4,700 historical companies and transactions including name changes, amalgamations and major asset sales since 1987. The INDEX also has a comprehensive Service and Supply section with business listings under the appropriate business type. The purchase of a book includes a free listing in the following issue of the INDEX. Additional listings and advertising opportunities are also available. Total entries in the INDEX exceed 8,600. Some directories only publish volunteered information which limits coverage and quality. Others basically publish data that has not been qualified, from outdated telephones directories. The INDEX is aggressively researched using government corporate registries, daily well reports, government lists of leases, security filings, crown sale results and numerous other sources. Daily updating results in 800 to 1100 changes to each quarter's INDEX. The FIELD GUIDE is a 8 ½ x 11 80 plus page book listing all field and district offices, including larger gas plants, plus facilities, presenting them alphabetically by location including township, range, NTS, latitude and longitude. The FIELD GUIDE includes more than 600 key personnel at the locations. The personnel are also presented alphabetically by name. The FIELD GUIDE is published quarterly with approximately 450 changes each issue. Published since 1968, the LAND JOURNAL is a monthly 8 ½ x 11 40 plus page book that lists, geographically, by province, the available land dispositions and crown sales including farmouts, trades, sales and participations on developed and undeveloped properties. Dispositions are published without cost or commissions in the LAND JOURNAL. At www.oilandgasindex.com find active and historical companies from 1987 to obtain, as applicable, basic information, key personnel, directors, operating centres, associates, predecessors and/or successors (a tree view to establish a chain of title), pending transactions and business listings with links to emails and web sites.
