| Coiled Tubing Equipment | Land and offshore coiled tubing units are configured in standard trailer, truck, skid-mounted and masted versions that can be tailored to meet specific needs. Masted coiled tubing units perform conventional operations and are available in multiple configurations customized for specific drilling and intervention applications. Trailerized coiled tubing units utilize injector heads with pull capacity up to 100,000 lb and feature a choice of a stand-alone diesel hybrid power pack or wet kit style power pack. Trailer-mounted units are available with and without a crane. Reel trailers for large tubing sizes are also available. Truck-mounted coiled tubing units are designed to fit the chassis of the truck model that meets customer needs and operating conditions. The unit can be provided with or without an integral crane. Offshore CTUs consist of skidded equipment for use on offshore platforms or purpose-built well intervention vessels. Units are split into multiple skids/lifts. For faster rig up, the control cabin and power pack can be combined into a single skid/lift. Options include containerization/sound attenuation, exhaust gas-cooling system with integral flame traps, gas detection system, explosion-proof wiring and certified lifting frames. |
