| COBALT laser etchers and plate-makers | Cobalt laser system are both revolutionary plate-makers for Pad Printing and versatile industrial laser etchers. The Cobalt line has CO2 and YAG laser system with a very small spot size and a variety of raster programs, which provides exceptional control over the quality of pad printed images and laser etched graphics. The laser systems use specially designed Printing Plates (AccuLaze plates for CO2 and Cobalt plates for YAG lasers) to produce pad printing plates directly from the computer. Just add the Cobalt software to your standard PC and begin etching images to the laser. Within minutes you can etch high resolution pad printing plates without the use of chemicals, films or concern about depth control. As for etching, Cobalts work perfectly on metal, wood, ceramic, glass, stone, fabrics, coated surfaces and other substrates, depending on Cobalt type. Inkcups Now has a laser to fit everyone's needs. | COBALT pad printing plates (cliches) | COBALT plate material is designed to be etched by YAG lasers. The plates can be etched within only a few minutes, no film positives or chemicals needed. Cobalt Plates are precision coated to a tolerance of /- .0001 for guaranteed repeatability from plate to plate and are typically good for 10,000 impressions per side. Cobalt Plates can be etched using the Inkcups Now Cobalt laser systems or any CO2 or YAG laser system with advanced software, small spot size and quality power control enabling a powerful and easy upgrade for the plate-making process. |
| CrystaLAZE pad printing plates (cliches) | CrystaLAZE pad printing plate material (patent pending) is designed to be etched by C02 lasers. Unlike the traditional UV exposure process, CrystaLAZE plates are etched within only a few minutes and no film positive or chemical is needed. The plates provide complete depth\halftone control, are especially receptive to etching small dot sizes and have a life expectancy of approximately 30,000 impressions. CrystaLAZE plates can be etched using the Inkcups Now Cobalt 3000 laser system or any low watt CO2 laser system. |
