Mist Eliminator, Droplet Separator, Vortex Scrubbers and consulting servicesMist Eliminators: The HRT Radial Spin Separator is an in-line unit that uses centrifugal spin to separate droplets form the gas stream. It is a versatile design which is used in applications where plugging may be a problem. The LTV-1500 is a vane-type (chevron) mist eliminator designed specifically for vertical flow. The use of drain bars in the vane geometry permits higher than normal velocity and thus the capture of smaller droplets. The design combines high liquid capture capacity and low pressure drop. The LTH-2100 series are vane-type mist eliminators designed specifically for horizontal flow. They have a high separation efficiency for droplet sizes down to 10 micron diameter. The vanes are assembled in frames which provide the design vane spacing, gas seals and drain arrangement. Standard designs have either one or two vane banks in series (Types LTH-2100/1; LTH-2100/2; respectively). Vortex Scrubber: The WEV Scrubber is a pressure drop-driven wet scrubber, which uses a unique principle to achieve high scrubbing efficiency of particulates and acid gases. It uses energy more efficiently than conventional scrubbers, with the majority of applications requiring less than 10" wg pressure drop. It is adjustable to suit changes in gas flow or scrubbing efficiency. The WEV Scrubber has better performance characteristics than the venturi.
