Avalanche protection systems are fence-like structures that are installed in the known initiation zones of snow avalanches and which are meant to retain snow masses on the slope, thus stopping avalanches before they are triggered. Trumer is also the only producer of a dynamic impact barrier specifically meant for slowing down/stopping avalanches already in motion.
Debris flow protection systems
Trumer produces debris flow barriers/debris flow catchment fences used to control debris flows both in the transition zones and deposition areas.
Gabions for building mass gravity retaining structures for purposes of hydraulic engineering, slope stabilisation, noise reduction or simply as design elements in landscaping.
Rockfall protection systems
Rockfall barriers/rockfall catchment fences that are designed to catch falling or sliding debris/rocks for the protection of built-up areas, infrastructure, or other things of value. Trumer currently produces fences up to more than 5000 kJ capacity.
Shallow landslide barriers
Shallow landslide barriers are fence systems used to control the movement of debris on open slopes.
Slope stabilization systems
Rock and soil slope retaining systems consisting of high-tensile wire netting and anchors that secure the slope by retaining the loose material in situ. Trumer all provides a range of wire mesh and cable nets used for drapery systems to control eroding material.
